Staff have a well-established track record in marine ecology research. The team have significant experience in surveying and monitoring techniques, including ship, land, and aerial based methods. Key skills include data analysis in GIS and PRIMER, science communication, diving, taxonomy, and animal handling. This has enabled the group to become the leader in biotelemetry studies within Ireland. A number of staff also contribute to academic teaching in Marine Ecology.
